After nearly 40 years in IT corporate sales management, in retirement Andy has turned his skills and experience in organisation, leadership and customer service, to use as a Toastmaster. Andy’s experience of leading public events is well suited to the work of a Professional Toastmaster & Master of Ceremonies, and with this experience Andy is able to support the needs of any occasion – large or small, ensuring it runs smoothly, to plan and on time.

Andy was formally trained at the Professional Toastmasters' Academy, known for its much-coveted reputation for attention to detail. As a Fellow of the Guild these standards are diligently maintained to meticulous detail and efficiency, but always with courtesy and understanding towards guests and officials taking part.

Andy works closely with his clients to clearly understand their requirements and how they wish their event to feel and be remembered; he removes the worry from the shoulders of the hosts. The key is to ensure that the activities are orderly, but fun, structured but seamless, and run to time, whilst upholding tradition with a the spirit of a modern approach.
