Guild Annual Dinner

On Friday 4th November, the Guild held its Annual Dinner in Central London.  The event was attended by Fellows of the Guild, Honorary Members and Graduates of the Professional Toastmasters' Academy, together with their partners and guests.

Drinks at the bar on arrival was followed by a sumptuous three-course meal, with coffee and liqueurs to finish.

What Toastmasters' Dinner would be complete without a few speeches and Toasts.  Newly elected Chairman, Norman Brown opened the speeches with a welcome and a Toast to all the guests.  His lady, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown responded to the Toast and Toasted the continued success of the Guild.  This was followed by a response on behalf of the Guild from Gareth Corris-Jones.

The proceeds of the raffle were donated to "Save Our Soldier" a military charity with a particular interest in helping serving and ex-serviceman who suffer with post traumatic stress disorder.

A good time was had by all.
